Every year of the nearly 10,000 candidates, who apply, only 40 make it through. This careful screening process is reflected in the sense of accomplishment that MIB students have. This small group thus develops a strong camaraderie and association, between the students and the faculties, and among the first year students and the final year ones, which is further developed in the various group activities that they engage in.

The alumni, who have passed out from the program, thus have a strong association with the course in particular, and the institute as a whole. The rigor, commitment and the learning that they went through and achieved, is reflected in the success that they had in the field they had the opportunity to work in.

Today, the MIB alumni are very well placed in key positions in various prestigious organizations throughout the world. And they constantly bring through experience and success back to their alma mater, and provide the students a sense of direction, plethora of opportunities and massive chunks of knowledge, so that the future batch of MIB is well prepared to face newer and, yet newer challenges.
