| MIB adheres to high academic
standards. The program is structured after a close interaction
with the corporate stalwarts to meet the rapidly evolving
requirements of the global economy.
Appreciating the pace of changes in global business the world
over, the course structure of MIB is constantly updated in
line with the changing needs of the industry. Throughout the
programme, students are given the opportunity to enhance their
conceptual, analytical and communication skills.
To meet this end, we use lectures, tutorials, case studies,
seminars, business games, and other modern techniques of imparting
education. Apart from semester-end examinations, the performance
of the students is assessed on the basis of classroom participation,
preparation of periodic projects and presentations, mid-term
tests and surprise quizzes.
Besides the permanent faculty, the expert guest faculty comprising
specialists is drawn from various business enterprises, research
institutions and universities.
Recognizing the need to expose students to real life challenges,
a number of corporate interaction sessions are scheduled throughout
the program period.
Guest Lectures, Seminars and Workshops
- learning through corporate interaction
The MIB programme lays great stress on live industrial interaction.
The students have the opportunity of putting forward their
queries directly to the industry and receiving valuable insights
and advice straight from the big industrial players themselves
through weekly Guest Lectures, Seminars and Workshops. Eminent
speakers from the industry are invited to the campus to provide
the students with real time corporate experience and enhance
their learning experience. These special lecture sessions
are conducted by industry leaders, academicians, and eminent
and distinguished personalities who give students a rare 'real
world' glimpse of what the skill sets required by a manager
are. In addition, these professionals discuss detailed inputs
about the course specialization streams, and of course, the
job market scenario in the International and Domestic Market.
As a consequence, our students are able to get a rich mix
of state-of-the-art academic research as well as best practices
from industry.
It has been MIB’s honour and privilege to host many
prominent speakers in the past,

Ethics at MIB are of prime importance. Here, Ethics is not
taught as a separate hard baked subject but it is integrated
in all the subjects so that the students walking out of the
campus have a value based growth and a solid foundation in
the way business is conducted the right way.
The elements of social responsibility are entwined in the
threads of the pedagogy through the classroom sessions as
well as the regular visits made to old age homes, orphanages
& educational institutions. |
