The Department of Commerce is an integral part of Delhi School
of Economics- an institute widely renowned for its eminence
in the field of research and advanced studies. The Department
itself specializes in the area of business education and management;
where apart from conducting Masters level programs in Commerce,
International Business and Human Resource, it also conducts
Ph. D and M. Phil programs.
MIB strongly draws upon the legacy it has inherited by way
of academic and intellectual excellence. Its accomplished
faculty from academia and industry, innovative & updated
course curriculum and intensive learning approach builds the
students in both content and practice.
MIB is a students driven programme where they are actively
and passionately involved in various initiatives. They understand
the meaning of team work, decision making, leadership, direction,
co-ordination and creative solution seeking approach by practicing
them under different student bodies.
The placements at MIB are handled by the students themselves
who, by working in tandem with the placement advisor, are
responsible for managing all the activities related to placements.
Developing and maintaining corporate interactions, making
corporate presentations, conducting the placement week, etc.
